Solar CHUG CAPO Low Latency Professional Pitch Pedal
The CHUG CAPO is exactly what it says it is. A digital bi-directional Capo.
Just like a Capo, the thought process is familiar to any guitarist because it is linear like the fretboard.
Up & down by semitones…. 12 up & 12 down. That simple. The Arrow button to the right raise pitch by semitone and the Arrow button on the left drops the pitch by semitone. The DISPLAY shows the number of semitones in either direction: (-)1 thru (-)12 and (+)1 thru (+)12. The latency offers the fastest performance of any single function pedal like this in the market. Roughly HALF of popular similar single pedals. The voicing has been meticulously programmed so pitch/key changed CHORDS sound the same as an unaltered chord sound. This practical approach allows the user to digitally change keys with minimum compromise on sonic integrity for playing the body of a song. Fast tempo right hand picking and chugging won’t give the feel of your playing dragging behind due to latency like other pedals. This is the key advantage of the CHUG CAPO.
NOTE: For Solos, some digital artifact is unavoidable and audible as in all pitch manipulators, but the tone remains faithful to the source. Additional features include the MIX function which allows blending of any pitch with the dry signal and the FAV function which allows for one favorite preset to be save and accessible by the FAV button or non-latching footswitch. (footswitch not included,1/8” to 1/4” TS cable is included).
